The responsibilities and key requirements are outlined below.KEY REQUIREMENTS & ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the development of study designs to answer client questionsWrite research protocolsObtain ethics approval from relevant regulatory bodiesConduct desktop research, using relevant documents, journal articles, questionnaires, surveys, polls, and interviews etc to gather dataDesign surveys, questionnaires, polls, etc. specific to research questionsDevelop analysis plansAnalyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns and themesConsolidate and synthesise research findings using a rigorous review processSupport the team to develop dissemination products such as briefs, presentations, peer-reviewed manuscripts, videos etc for internal and external stakeholdersStay abreast with relevant research findings and collaborate closely with other stakeholders on related studiesWrite progress reports to stakeholdersPrepare and present presentationsManage research projectsSupport business developmentAd hoc activities suited to the associate role EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL COMPETENCIES: Strong academic background – Minimum of a Postgraduate degree in a research field of study, preferably EpidemiologyDesirable: Master’s DegreeProficiency in STATA and ExcelExperience with data visualisation software, e.g. Power BI is desirable2 – 3 years of research or consulting experienceExperience in or an interest in Public HealthExcellent English communication and writing skills – ability to communicate at all levelsStrong research skillsProactive self-starter who is able to be assertiveAbility to work as part of a multicultural team as well as independentlyExcellent attention to detailStrong relationship management skillsStrong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritiseConfident networkerAbility to work under pressure to tight deadlinesSound problem-solving and judgement skillsProfessional and confidential approach to dealing with sensitive informationAdvanced PC literacyWillingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally
