SECURITY GUARD (DAY)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the security of the premises.

· Monitor and operate CCTV and other surveillance systems.

· Control entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed access.

· Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access through proactive observation and intervention.

· Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or other emergency situations.

· Provide detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.

· Communicate effectively with other guards, staff, and law enforcement when necessary.

· Maintain a visible and professional security presence at all times.

· Conduct security checks and inspections as required.

· Enforce rules, regulations, and safety procedures within the premises.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

· Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Security Guard or similar role

· Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods

· High level of honesty, integrity, and vigilance

· Strong judgment and decision-making skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure or in emergency situations

· Basic understanding of security operations and equipment

· Certificate of good conduct and references from previous employers (preferred)

· Training in first aid, firefighting, or basic security operations is an added advantage
