Job summary
To develop, implement, and monitor safety and environmental programs to minimize risks, prevent incidents, and foster a strong safety culture across the site, while ensuring mining operations comply with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor site EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and Job Safety Analyses.
- Manage environmental performance, including waste management and air, water, and soil monitoring.
- Lead emergency preparedness, training programs, and safety awareness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare regular compliance and performance reports.
More responsibilities on the JD
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Mining Engineering
- Holder of NEBOSH certificate (MUST)
- 5 years of EHS experience
