Airbyte is the open-source standard for EL(T). We enable data teams to replicate data from applications, APIs, and databases to data warehouses, lakes, and other destinations. Opportunity
Databases are universal – every single company in the world uses one – and replication of high volumes of data to them continues to be one of the most complex problems in the industry. As the product manager leading our Database Connectors team, you will be responsible for tackling the challenge of replicating high volumes of data across databases, warehouses and other destinations by building high quality and reliable connectors that will support mission critical applications serving tens of millions of records per day.
What You'll Do
- Lay the foundation to scale a catalog of high-quality connectors.
- Drive the strategic direction for a category of connectors most critical to our largest users and customers - database connectors.
- Build and improve connectors alongside our amazing community and customer base by conducting user research and acting as their advocate.
- Become an expert in the data integration ecosystem and help evolve our connector offering to address the growing needs of our users.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience of product management in startups or scale-ups with a demonstrated ability to drive clarity from ambiguity.
- Experience owning an end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
- Working knowledge of technical and software engineering concepts, ideally in the data integration space.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Ability to work in North American (PST/CST/EST) time zones.
