Job Summary:
As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Officer to ensure impeccable warehouse and inventory management, and timely procurement of consumables, assets, and services. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, this role may involve local travel to our various centers.
Scope of The Role:
• Procurement of consumables, fixed assets, and services
• Warehouse management
• Asset and office equipment management
• Supervision and performance evaluation
• Reporting
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement of consumables and service
• Execute procurement in compliance with our policies and procedures
• Ensure timely supplier payments by coordinating with the finance department
• Guarantee the quality, quantity, and timely delivery of procured consumables
• Oversee centre-level procurement, ensuring alignment with the current policy Warehouse Management
• Streamline receipt and release procedures in the warehouse
• Efficiently manage warehouse inventories
• Conduct regular physical counts and spot checks
• Ensure optimal storage space for consumables
• Maintain thorough documentation for materials released from the warehouse to centers ERP Management
• Post all supply chain documents on the ERPs, including purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and transfers
• Monthly reconciliation with the finance department to ensure inventory balances align Reporting
• Prepare and submit monthly center, warehouse, and supply chain reports to the Supply Chain Officer as per mandatory schedules Others
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the supply chain officer and the management team
• Collaborate with all departments, closely working with the supply chain officer in executing activities at all levels
Supervisory Responsibilities (Direct Reports):
• Clerical staffs
• Interns / temporary/casual staffs

• University degree in Business Administration or related field
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

Experience
