Technical System Intergration & Testing Engineer ( NAIROBI) ( ANY NATIONALITY)

Our Client a global leader in security analystics softwares, is looking for the following professional to join their esteemed team:

Role:Technical System Integration & Testing Enginner ( SIGINT)
Location:Nairobi. ( Kenya)
Nationality:Any

Skills and Qualification:
•    A Bachelors Degree in Science or practical engineering degree in electronics or computer science
•    Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience upporting of  complex solutions in Telco /VoIP is mandatory.
•    Strong analytical and technical skills in following areas:
o    TDM/VoIP communication debug skills is mandatory.
o    Hands-on troubleshooting skills with OS such Linux / Unix  / Windows Server – is mandatory.
o    Data Communications knowledge based  TCP/IP , LAN/WAN – is mandatory
o    Wireshark (or other similar tool) troubleshooting skills – is mandatory
o    SIP, SS7 protocols debug skills – is mandtory
o    ISDN , PRI debugging -experience would be an added advantage
o    Transmission equipment experience (STM, E1, T1, SDH) – would be an added advantage.
o    Satellite (RF, DCME) communication experience – would be an added advantage. 
o    LTE, UMTS, IMS, GPRS, GSM, CDMA solutions familiarity – would be an added advantage
o    Scripts development  skills – would be an added advantage.
o    Familiarity with HW area   Servers,Networking ,etc…would be an added advantage.

Job Summary:

Key Accountabilities
•    Responsibility on supporting complex  products at customer site. Analysis and troubleshooting skills in systems based multipart technology
•    Customer oriented, good  verbal and written communication skills in English
•    A Self-starter, multitasking, independent, responsible, able to take initiative.
•    Ability to analyze and diagnose problems, cross-system analytic skills
•    Good inter-personal communication with other team players
•    Presentation skills in-front of customers
•    write technical work procedures guides
•    self-learner based on manuals 
•    Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple assignments
•    Availability of support beyond office hours
•    Passport issuance/available
•    The job requires a few international flights a year. Around 30% travels local/Abroad is required.

Salary:    Competitive depending on the candidate’s background and experience
