Job Summary
Our Client, in the manufacturing industry with easily recognizable brands in Kenya and extending to the region, is seeking to recruit a Trade Marketing Manager. Reporting to the General Manager – Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing sales, establishing a strong and viable partnership with trade channels; and developing measurable objectives.

Job Description/Requirements
- Develop and present annual trade execution strategies, objectives, and plans at national and regional levels.
- Plan and track execution and ensure all programs are successful and falling within the guidelines.
- Schedule and hold regular monthly and quarterly review meetings with key supermarkets chains to monitor business progress.
- Provide business intelligence and happenings in the Dairy industry and overall FMCGs category.
- Support key customers on Joint promotions and in adjusting trade calendar/spend to hit targets (reconciling the top-down and bottom-up plans).
- Guide and ensure the trade team is well informed and aligned with the company's periodical objectives.
- Ensure merchandising and display objectives are achieved for visibility and dominance of the company’s brands is realized.
- Develop model stock levels for each outlet to ensure stocks are available.
- Recruit and train merchandisers team and trade developers for periodic market surveys and new product launch.
- Responsible for debt collection in all outlets and ensure outstanding debts beyond the agreed credit limit policy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree or a Business related field. Higher diploma in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage
- At least 6 years’ experience in management level in the FMCG industry.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, trade channels, and branding.
- Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- High results and performance oriented
