We’re hiring a strategic Finance Lead to manage budgeting, accounting, taxation, and financial planning. Ideal candidates must have experience in Microfinance, Fintech, or Banking, with strong knowledge of DCP compliance and a track record of driving financial growth.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
* Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and DCP regulations.
* Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial data.
* Lead board and management reporting, including variance analysis.
* Liaise with auditors, regulators (CBK, KRA), and external partners.
2. Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
* Provide insights for decision-making, lending strategies, and portfolio growth.
3. Accounting & Treasury Operations
* Oversee daily accounting, reconciliations, payroll, and cash flow.
* Manage funding, loan postings, and statutory compliance.
4. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
* Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with KRA, CBK, and DCP standards.
* Advise on tax planning and regulatory changes.
5. Financial Modelling & Strategic Analysis
* Develop financial models for capital raising, pricing, and new products.
* Conduct stress testing and performance tracking.
6. Leadership & Team Management
* Mentor the finance team and drive process automation.
* Champion integrity, efficiency, and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
* CPA (K) or ACCA required; MBA/MSc Finance is an advantage.
* 5–8 years’ experience in Finance Management within Microfinance, Fintech, or DCP.
* Strong knowledge of CBK regulations, IFRS, and KRA tax laws.
* Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Power BI, Musoni, or Mambu.
