WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

• Maintaining and updating the Stock levels by using the Inventory System and keep the inventory management system up to date.

• Receiving and overseeing the loading, offloading, issuing, storing, and delivering of materials and Products.

• Ensuring all stock is stored & dispatched following the right procedures.

• Managing the documentation of materials received from Suppliers, dispatched to the Production department and Customers, Products availed for storage from the Production department to be dispatched to Customers.

• Receiving Orders from Customers and delivering the required Products.

• Carrying out Stock counting monthly to establish how much Stock is available at end month.

• Ensuring that stock taking strategies are set for easy management of storage of raw materials and Products.

• Taking part in making projections of the required raw materials.

• Assigning workloads to personnel working in the Warehouse.

• Ensuring that good housekeeping practices are maintained in the Warehouse including keeping the area clean and tidy with clear walkways.

• Ensuring safety procedures for personnel who access the storage areas are created and documented by liaising with the Quality department to be guided in HSE aspects.

• Carrying out any other duties as need might arise in the Stores/Warehouse Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

B.A/Diploma in Supply chain management.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

Self-driven to accomplish goals and tasks, Flexible, Team cautious and cooperative, practical and innovative.
