Waste Water Treatment Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Wastewater Treatment Operations:

·       Oversee daily operations of the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring processes meet environmental standards and are optimized for efficiency.

·       Monitor and manage treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and physical methods, to effectively treat and manage sewage and wastewater.

·       Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all equipment, including pumps, motors, and filtration systems.

Feasibility Studies and Technical Assessments:

·       Conduct detailed feasibility studies and technical assessments to evaluate the viability of proposed wastewater treatment solutions.

·       Consider factors such as site conditions, effluent characteristics, treatment technologies, and operational considerations in your evaluations.

Project Execution and Management:

·       Lead the execution and handling of wastewater treatment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

·       Interpret civil engineering drawings and apply basic civil knowledge to support project execution.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Integration:

·       Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations teams to develop integrated solutions that meet the technical, commercial, and operational objectives of the projects.

·       Ensure that all wastewater treatment solutions are aligned with the broader goals of the organization and meet regulatory compliance.

Environmental Compliance:

·       Ensure all wastewater treatment processes comply with NEMA guidelines and other relevant environmental regulations.

·       Prepare and submit necessary environmental reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.
