Location: Overseas

Key Roles & Responsibilities 

Ensure activities follow safety procedures and standard operating procedures.

• Works under general supervision of a foreman who issues oral instructions and signals of Signalmen for desired movement of plant when needed.

• Co-ordinate the work of the crane team and the labours for best performance

• Organize the set-up of quayside work areas, including facilities for cut-out trailers and twist lock bins location.

• Undertake driving duties and the operation of plant and equipment where necessary.

• Participate with the operations supervisor during the daily briefing and tool-box-talks

• Alert to sudden changes in desired movement of crane, workers in and around winch cables And lines, cable entanglements, and unusual strain on winch and winch cables, to prevent Injury to personnel, cable breakage, and damage to equipment

• Report damages and discrepancies when noticed during handling the cargoes.

• Ensure that any relevant documentation is fully completed, maintained and checked.

• Perform equipment check list at the beginning of shift and report malfunctioning to the charge hand

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification/Experiences/Skills Education & Professional Qualification:

Elementary School.

Must possess Equipment Driving License

Professional Experience: 2 year Equipment Operating

Language Skills: Working knowledge of English
