It represents some of the best-known global brands in the automotive sector, ranging from Bridgestone and Dunlop in the tyre sector to Bosch, KYB, NGK and Turtle Wax in the service parts and accessories sector.
THE ROLE
The key responsibility of this position is offering sales support to the retail branch network in regard to the sale of parts, accessories and lubricants. In line with this responsibility, main functions include identifying auto parts requirements based on specific vehicle applications, making recommendations for local procurement, parts catalogue maintenance and data collection.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Support
a) Handling branch enquiries on parts, accessories and lubricants
b) Advise call centre on parts application based on vehicle specifications
c) Recommendations for local purchase requests when required
d) Local parts supplier order follow-up to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
e) Collect and compile data on retail competition pricing
f) Collect and compile data on retail claims regarding parts, accessories and lubricants
Reports
a) Prepare daily parts enquiries and quotations report
b) Prepare daily pending orders report
c) Prepare weekly local purchase stock movement report
d) Prepare weekly loss of sale report
e) Prepare and maintain monthly parts accessories and lubricants claim register

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
a) A bachelor’s degree in a business-related or engineering course.
b) Basic knowledge of auto parts and the parts industry.
c) Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office packages especially MS Excel.
