Automotive Mechanic

Responsibilities:
•    Inspect vehicles to identify and diagnose problems
•    Replace or repair worn or defective parts, such as brakes, transmission, and engine components
•    Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations
•    Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicles
•    Communicate with customers to explain the repairs that need to be done and the cost
•    Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles
•    Stay up-to-date with new automotive technologies and advancements in the industry, including those specific to European cars
•    Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis

Requirements:
•    Nita grade 1 or 2 Equivalent.
•    ASE certification is a plus
•    At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with a focus on European cars
•    Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, engine, transmission, and braking systems
•    Experience with diagnostic tools and software
•    Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong communication and customer service skills
•    Must have own basic tools.
