We seek a detail-oriented Banking Operations Lead to manage banking and payment operations across regions. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in cross-border payments, oversees liquidity and settlements, and fosters strong relationships with banks and partners while driving continuous process improvement.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Payment Processing & Settlements
· Supervise daily payment operations across multiple currencies and corridors (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, Faster Payments).
· Ensure timely and accurate execution of transactions, fund transfers, and reconciliations.
· Investigate and resolve failed or delayed transactions in collaboration with banks and PSPs.
· Reconcile transaction records with bank statements and maintain control procedures to meet SLAs.
Treasury & Liquidity Oversight
· Monitor liquidity across global accounts and ensure optimal fund allocation.
· Manage daily cash flows and prepare liquidity and revenue reports.
· Support forecasting, cash management, and FX exposure optimization.
· Enforce company trading and dealer limits.
Compliance & Risk Management
· Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all transactions adhere to AML, KYC, and regulatory standards.
· Participate in audits, due diligence reviews, and operational risk assessments.
· Implement effective controls and monitor regulatory developments in payments and banking operations.
Partner & Vendor Management
· Act as the liaison with partner banks, PSPs, and correspondent institutions.
· Support onboarding and integration of new banking partners and payment rails.
· Monitor partner performance, fees, and SLAs while ensuring service quality.
· Negotiate and manage contracts with banking and financial partners.
Reporting & Reconciliation
· Supervise daily reconciliations of client funds, wallets, and operational accounts.
· Generate accurate reports on transactions, settlements, and reconciliation health.
· Collaborate with Finance and Audit teams on internal and external reporting requirements.
Operational Excellence & Team Leadership
· Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for banking and payment operations.
· Identify process inefficiencies and implement automation improvements.
· Mentor and guide junior treasury and operations staff to enhance departmental performance.

Collaborate
with Product and Engineering teams to improve payment workflows.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
· 5–7 years of experience in banking, treasury, or payment operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
· Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is required.
· Deep understanding of payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, BACS, Faster Payments).
· Strong working knowledge of reconciliation, liquidity management, and compliance processes.
· Professional certification (CPA, CFA, CTP, or Payments Operations certification) is an added advantage.
