Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Care
-
Conduct thorough patient examinations and diagnoses of oral health conditions

Perform restorative dental procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges, etc.)

Carry out dental surgical procedures as required

Provide emergency dental care and pain management
-
Deliver cosmetic dentistry services
2. Preventive & Patient Education
-
Offer preventive dental care and oral health education
-
Advise patients on proper oral hygiene and long-term dental care practices
3. Patient Management
-
Ensure proper patient care, comfort, and follow-up
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
-
Handle patient concerns professionally and ethically
4. Administrative & Compliance
-
Adhere to all medical and dental regulatory standards
-
Ensure proper use and maintenance of dental equipment
-
Participate in audits, reporting, and compliance processes
5. Training & Mentorship
-
Support training and mentorship of junior staff or interns
-
Participate in continuous professional development
Qualifications & Requirements-
Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
-
Valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
-
Valid annual practicing certificate
Experience-
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
-
At least 2 years in a supervisory or senior clinical role
-
Proven experience in managing complex dental cases
-
Experience working in a multidisciplinary dental care environment
