Job summary
Position: Quality Assurance Officer Role Overview The QA Officer will play a crucial role in the Manufacturing process by averting non conforming activities thus guaranteeing products which meet certain thresholds of acceptability therefore meeting the needs of end users in terms of safety and, efficacy, strength, reliability and durability.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcement of cGMP.
- Identify gaps in GMP implementation and appropriate mitigation.
- Interpret and enforce the implementation of quality assurance standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of laid-down procedures and identify the need to review them.
- Monitor production process, testing, and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished pharmaceutical product quality.
- Assist in both internal & external inspections/Audits
- Quality Risk Management
- Manage deviations and investigations
- Take part in change control management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry, or Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology.
• 3-5 Years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
• Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance System,GDP and GLP
• Conversant with WHO -–GMP
• Computer literate
• Good written and oral communication skills
