We are looking for a dedicated and experienced driver to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient transportation for our organization. As a driver, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to quality service and transportation excellence.
THE JOB
As a Driver, you will be an essential part of our operations, contributing to the smooth movement of people and resources, ensuring safe and reliable transportation while delivering exceptional service. The Driver will ensure smooth transportation operations and prioritizes the well-being of passengers, goods, and the community.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
1. Safely and responsibly operating company vehicles to transport passengers, goods, or materials to their destinations.
2. Planning and following the most efficient and safe routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
3. Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle's safety and reliability.
4. Ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations, including vehicle weight limits, parking restrictions, and safety standards.
5. Maintaining accurate records of mileage, trips, and deliveries, as required.
6. Responding calmly and effectively in emergency situations, such as accidents or breakdowns.
7. Safeguarding company vehicles and their contents against theft, damage, or unauthorized use.
QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder should have the following qualifications.
1. A valid driver's license for the type of vehicle to be operated (e.g., commercial driver's license if required).
2. Proven experience as a driver, with a clean driving record.
3. Additional certifications or training may be a plus.
