ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN (LOCATION: KIAMBU COUNTY)

•  Executing both predictive and preventive maintenance.
•  Assisting the factory engineers with machine design and maintenance tasks.
•  Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
•  Advising management on continued use of unsuitable electrical equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
•  Daily Inspection of electrical components and carrying out electrical repairs.
•  Ensure spare parts are procured and managed.
•  Identify, trouble shoot electrical problems and escalate to management for action.
•  Documenting processes and maintaining electrical service records as per the food safety requirements.
•  Ensure that all records in your area of duty are updated, duly signed by subsequent relevant supervisor/manager.
•  Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
•  Supervising and training machine operators.
•  Work as a team during maintenance work.
•  Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of machinery and equipment.
•  Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
•  Coordinate the cleaning of all equipment, machines and working areas to ensure no compromise of product quality and safety.
•  Control the movement of tools and ensure all tools are cleaned, sanitized & put back in the toolbox after use.
•  Ensure the control panels are efficiently configured.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
•  Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
•  Strong attention to detail.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Good communication and teamwork, especially when working with engineers and technicians.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•  Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
