FILLER OPERATOR ( FMCG)

On behalf of a major business conglomerate, we are looking to fill the following position:

Qualification, skills, experience

 

·        Diploma In Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering.

·        3-5 Years’ experience in same field.

·        Working on in Krones machines in a beverage plant setup is mandatory.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

·        Operate the Krones Blowing & Filling machine as per SOP.

·        Ensure the availability of materials is enough for whole shift before starting the shift by coordinating with shift engineer.

·        Produce as par target set by management with required quality and less rejection.

·        Do the changeover independently within changeover time limit set by management and Keep Changeover parts and Trolley clean.

·        Do the troubleshooting if any faults coming during operation with minimum rejection

·        Maintains adequate housekeeping near the machine according to Company’s Procedures.

·        Monitoring and Control the process parameters as desired and handing over to the incoming shift in a systematic and orderly manner.

·        Fill and maintain the Hourly Production report/log book, down time, Preventive Maintenance check list.

·        Cooperate with other machine operators or team members when your machine running smoothly to achieve the Production Target and can assign to run other machines as par the training taken and company requirement.

·        Optimize the use of Production hours by proper utilizing the (Lunch time, breakfast time, dinner time and Prayer time).

·        Report to a Shift Engineer, if any abnormality is found or in case of any parameters abnormalities noticed or process deviation noticed to ensure that accurate condition of field equipment is maintained.

·        Keep the machine in good conditions during operation.

·        Take care of lubrication of machine and maintenance of machine with maintenance Team.

·        Reduce the down times by Constantly reviews the operation of the Machine to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement

·        To set the controls and observe gauges and other instrumentation to monitor progress and check for malfunctions, leaks and other faults.

·        Use Raw materials, Labels and other Utilities consumables in an optimal manner to ensure cost saving.

·        Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs. 

·        Communicates directly with QA laboratory to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and procedures. 

·        Performs Autonomous maintenance activities and assist maintenance technicians in performing maintenance and repairs.

 

 

 

 

Salary and benefits: Will depend on the background and experience of the candidate, with an indicative range of Gross between Kshs. 70,000 to Kshs. 100,000 Other benefits as per company’s policy
