Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree In Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
- Professional Certification (Cpa, Acca, Cfa) Is Highly Desirable.
- Strong Knowledge Of Ugandan Tax Laws, Regulatory Frameworks, And Compliance Requirements.
- Proven Ability To Manage Cross-Functional Teams And Complex Operations.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 Years Experience In Financial Management And Administration, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Role.
- Experience In Facilities Management, Service Industry, Or Related Sectors Is An Added Advantage.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Strategic Growth: -
- Lead Budgeting, Forecasting, And Financial Planning And Controlling Processes To Support Business Objectives.
- Ensure Accurate And Timely Financial Reporting, Including Preparation Of Management Accounts And Statutory Reports.
- Present Financial Performance Reports To The Board, Highlighting Key Trends, Risks, And Opportunities.
- Establish And Enforce Budgetary Controls To Ensure Disciplined Expenditure And Resource Allocation.
- Drive Cost Management Initiatives To Improve Efficiency And Profitability.
- Provide Strategic Financial Insights To Support Business Expansion And Market Competitiveness.
- Lead Teams In Executing Financial Growth Initiatives And Aligning Operations With Broader Strategic Goals.
Administration & Operations: -
- Manage Procurement, Contracts, And Vendor Relationships To Ensure Value For Money.
- Oversee Office Administration, Logistics, And Resource Allocation.
- Implement Efficient Systems For Documentation, Record-Keeping, And Compliance.
- Support Ict And Governance Processes To Align With Group Policies.
Leadership & Governance: -
- Deputise For The Country Head, Representing The Company In Client, Stakeholder, And Regulatory Engagements.
- Provide Leadership To Finance And Administration Teams, Fostering Accountability And Performance Excellence.
- Collaborate With Group Leadership To Align Company Operations With Regional Strategy.
