About the Role

We are a growing, small-sized property management company based in Nairobi looking for a proactive, detailed, and trustworthy Property Clerk to join our operational team. You will be responsible for day-to-day property operations, field inspections, rent tracking, tenant relations, and lease documentation.

​This is a field-heavy role requiring strong financial acumen, thorough knowledge of Nairobi’s estates and surrounding areas, and daily travel via company motorcycle.

​Key Responsibilities

​Field Operations & Inspections: Conduct regular property and unit inspections (move-in, move-out, routine health and safety), document property conditions, and oversee necessary maintenance or repairs.

​Rent Collection & Financial Tracking: Follow up on monthly rent collections, verify payments, issue receipts, and reconcile tenant accounts.

​Lease Preparation & Tenant Management: Draft and renew tenant lease agreements, handle onboarding/offboarding, and resolve day-to-day tenant requests and complaints promptly.

​Monthly Statements & Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly financial and property performance statements for property owners using property software and spreadsheet tools.

​Field Logistics: Travel frequently across Nairobi and its environs to manage properties efficiently and respond to field emergencies.

Qualifications & Requirements

​Educational Background: O-Level, Certificate, Diploma, Real Estate Experience or a related field.

​Driver’s License (Mandatory): Valid Class A motorcycle driving license with a minimum of 2 years of active riding experience around Nairobi.

​Technical Skills: Computer literate with working proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and property management software/accounting systems.

​Geographic Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Nairobi estates, commercial hubs, and nearby areas (e.g., Kiambu, Kajiado, Machakos borders).

​Experience: Experience in property management, field collections, or real estate operations will be an added advantage.
