About the role
The Global Asset Care Lead is going to work as a part of Diageo's Global Manufacturing Excellence team. We are the catalysts for positive and sustainable change in our business. Our vision is to transform manufacturing and drive a culture of productivity with high performing teams powered by digital technologies. Our Asset Care programme sets global standards and defines the future path of our manufacturing organisation.
This role is responsible for supporting the operations teams to improve performance and standards through coaching of lean manufacturing practices, continuous improvement projects, MMS training preparation, delivery, and facilitation. You will ensure that the very best standards are implemented and sustained across the various sites by conducting process confirmations. You will also work with our Capital Project teams on practices to drive efficient start-up of our new assets.
As a global role this comes with the flexibility to be based at any of our global manufacturing locations. It may also require some business travel although not extensive.
About You
The successful applicant will be able to influence, build and own positive and effective partnerships at all levels, to help navigate through a truly global set of partners. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent organization and coaching skills to ensure that business objectives are delivered.
We are looking for someone that can lead and inspire teams to adopt and share best practices that drives improvement in our Performance, Productivity and Practices across Diageoâs manufacturing sites. Excellent leadership skills with an ability to adapt your style , as well as inspiring, coaching and developing a high-performing team that adapts to the ever-changing environment with speed and agility.
Experience of asset care and manufacturing environments are important as you will be working in partnership with engineering teams. You will be a true agent of change who can bring a deep insight into manufacturing excellence principles and up to date asset care principles.
