Mawingu is an Internet service provider whose mission is to open opportunities by bringing affordable connectivity to rural areas, where we serve both leading corporate and residential customers, as well as hundreds of thousands of individuals via public WIFI hotspots.

As part of a fast-paced and results-oriented team, you will be responsible for prospecting for leads in a region, and actively driving these leads to closure, to meet a predefined monthly objective for new revenue generated. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Investing in a full understanding of Mawingu’s product lines.
- Finding potential Mawingu Home and Business customers
- Generating an interest in the product by engaging these potential customers to discover their needs
- Adhering to an agreed upon procedure for generating and tracking leads within Mawingu’s sales systems and processes
- Actively following up with the potential customer and the relevant Mawingu teams to ensure closure of the sale and timely installation of the necessary equipment at the customer site
- Following up with the new customer, particularly in the first three months, to ensure that the service received exceeds their expectation
Candidate’s Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Business related field
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
- Experience working in an ISP or within the telecommunications industry highly preferred
- Demonstrable previous success with sales of technology products to small and/or medium sized enterprises
