Job Summary
The main purpose for the role is setting up new networks, maintaining and upgrading existing computer networks, including hardwares, troubleshooting flaws in software, hardware configuration, communications equipment, and fixing all Information Technology issues as they arise.

Job Description/Requirements
Provide
support in the club’s infrastructure/data/information security
Assist in the maintenance of club local networks, Wireless Area Network and internet connectivity in ways that optimize performance and all peripheral attached to it e.g. Cisco router, D-link switches, security Firewall, WIFI Access point, Network printer e.t.c
Monitoring and configuration of Network printer giving report on printing costs, ensure there are controls and printing policies.
Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, projector, smart TV during presentations etc.)
Install and configure appropriate software e.g. windows, MS office, Antiviruses, and functions according to specifications.
Check computer hardware (point of sale terminals, posiflex printers, HDD, Desktop computers, Laptops, mouse’s, keyboards, monitors etc.) to ensure functionality.
Maintaining of Office telephone system, telephone hand set to ensure there is flow of communication in every department.
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
Maintaining all the access control systems within the club, hence ensuring only authorized members have access to the club.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts debugging etc.)
Maintain records/logs of IT equipment repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.
Working together with the human resource to ensure the staff clock-in system is well implemented and used on a daily basis for record purpose

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in any relevant Information Technology field
Good command in Microsoft Office Applications
Conversant with IT controls and Networking
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
4years working experience in Information Technology
