Job Description. Key Responsibilities
1. Identify, plan and acquire business while overseeing planning and ensuring the smooth running of the day to day operations and activities.
2. Take part in marketing activities of the organization and team.
3. Marketing of Insurance Services for mutual benefit.
4. Prospect, identify and create relationships with potential clients and provide support required.
5. Be a high caliber, highly motivated, disciplined and productive member of the team.
6. Ensure company policies and procedures are observed and performance standards regarding profitability and efficiency are attained within the set deadlines.
7. Identify markets and introducing the company’s products to existing and new clients and nurture them to achieve the set production targets on monthly basis.
8. Identify new opportunities for growth in order to drive ongoing sales while establishing and building new relationships with potential clients with prospective business.
9. Maintain existing relationships with clients in order to protect the existing books of business and co-ordinate marketing campaigns to prospective customers.
10. Regularly conduct market survey aimed at collecting market intelligence on products and competitor activity.
11. Handle queries and issues from clients, prospective clients and any other duty assigned by the Line manager
Qualifications, Experience, and Competences
1. Diploma in Insurance or other or Certificate of Proficiency (COP).
2. Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial, B Commerce Insurance option a Marketing of business related courses will be an added advantage
3. Excellent planning and communication skills.
4. Self-driven disciplined, ambitious and hard-working traits.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills.
6. Practical knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry, its stakeholders and products
7. Remuneration will be commission based with support for long term career progression, growth and additional benefits.
