Junior Graphic and Web Designer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Graphic and Web Designer to join our creative team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong eye for design and a basic understanding of front-end web principles. The role involves creating digital and print assets that support our marketing, branding, and communication strategies.

As part of a fast-paced team, you will contribute to the development of websites, social media graphics, promotional materials, and design systems. You'll be expected to take initiative, pay close attention to detail, and collaborate with both marketing and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design responsive website pages and landing pages based on brand guidelines.
• Create digital assets for email marketing, social media campaigns, and online ads.
• Design and prepare print-ready materials such as brochures, flyers, and business cards.
• Assist with basic website updates using WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• Maintain consistency across all visual content and brand materials.
• Organize and manage design files and assets for internal use.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are accurately implemented.
• Contribute fresh creative ideas during team brainstorms and design reviews.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proficiency in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; XD or Figma a plus).
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• A keen eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Portfolio of recent design work demonstrating digital and print skills.

Preferred Experience (Not Mandatory but a Bonus):

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or related field 
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
• Experience with video editing or motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Basic understanding of SEO-friendly design.
• Experience in Canva, Webflow, or similar tools.

Design Brief:

Scenario: We are launching a new productivity app for remote teams.
Task:

1. Design a promotional social media graphic (Instagram post – 1080x1080px) that introduces the app.
2. Create a simple landing page layout (desktop view – JPEG or PDF) that includes:

• Headline
• App features (3–4)
• Call-to-action button
• Placeholder for an image or illustration

Deliverables:

• Submit your designs in PDF or image format (max 10MB total).

• Include a short explanation (100–150 words) about your design approach.

Deadline: Include your task with your application. Only candidates who submit the design task will be considered for shortlisting.
