Our client is seeking a skilled Server & Storage Data Center Engineer to join their IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with server hardware, storage systems, SAN switches, and operating systems (Windows & Linux).

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware (HPE, Dell, Lenovo) and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
- Monitor server performance and optimize resource utilization.
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Perform backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
- Configure and maintain storage systems (HPE, Dell, NetApp) including SAN/NAS environments.
- Manage SAN switches (Cisco MDS, Brocade) and ensure secure, efficient configurations.
- Administer Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server, Exchange, and Linux-based services (Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and storage issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement security policies, patches, and updates across servers and storage systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of server hardware and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with storage arrays, RAID, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI protocols.
- Proficiency in SAN switch configuration and management.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2019/2022) and Linux distributions (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
- Familiarity with backup/recovery tools and disaster recovery planning.
- Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or similar) for automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
