A fast-growing Renewable Energy and Energy Storage Company is expanding its operations in Kenya and is seeking an experienced and results-driven Kenya Channel & Store Operations Lead to spearhead our market expansion. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in developing our sales channels.

Qualifications:
Ø Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, Electrical Engineering, Energy, Engineering, or a related field.
Ø Minimum five years of experience in channel sales, regional management, B2B sales, retail operations, or the renewable energy, solar, or electrical industry.
Ø Previous team management experience.
Ø Strong understanding of the Kenyan market.
Ø Existing relationships with solar companies, electrical contractors, EPC companies, installers, or distributors are highly desirable.
Ø Excellent customer development, negotiation, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Ø Willingness to travel extensively within Kenya.
Ø Good English communication skills; Kiswahili is an advantage.
Ø Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic CRM systems.
Results-oriented with strong execution skills and the ability to solve problems independently.
Key responsibilities:
· Oversee the daily management and coordination of the Kenya project and report progress to company headquarters.
· Manage four Regional Sales Representatives and drive customer acquisition, dealer development, installer recruitment, store development, and sales follow-up.
· Lead the establishment of the first batch of retail stores, including site selection, renovations, demo units, marketing materials, store launch, and operational readiness.
· Coordinate with customer teams regarding partnerships, meeting minutes, action plans, and issue resolution.
· Develop key accounts and flagship stores in Nairobi and surrounding areas.
· Work with the technical team to organize installer training, product training, and sales training.
· Coordinate warehouse, finance, sales support, and customer teams to ensure smooth product delivery, inventory, invoicing, documentation, and data synchronization.
· Prepare weekly reports covering project progress, sales pipeline, store development, regional sales performance, and operational risks.
· Recommend corrective actions or personnel replacements for underperforming regions, stores, or sales staff.
