Job Description

We are seeking a manager to operate and manage the accommodation facility and the restaurant (Planning, Pre-opening and Opening). The ideal candidate will have a diverse and varied hospitality background in marketing, operations, administration, and restaurant opening and management.

Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations. Duties and responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

·         Revenue management -

o   Channel management, maintain minimum agreed upon occupancy level, maximize revenue, manage rates for all services, enhance all revenue opportunities. Identify and execute on all other revenue generating opportunities

o   Target marketing to customers

·         Reservations and Guest relations – responsive to all inquiries, creative solution and problem solving to all customers’ needs

·         Advise on and implement an Enterprise Resource management platform to manage the bed and breakfast and the restaurant

·         Cost and expense management – asset register, purchase register, inventory management and accountability on all expenses

·         Operations - housekeeping, supervision, checklists, schedules, supply management, laundry, food and beverage, suppliers, maintenance

·         Administration and Human Resource – setting goals, workflows, and monitoring performance, establishing routines and clear work flows, statutory obligations, management reports and meetings

·         Restaurant planning, pre-opening and opening processes, procedures and policies

Accountability - prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual financial reports (including budget, revenue reports), close and settle each day’s transactions, apprise and consult the management team as needed for the day to day operations.


Qualifications

-          Hospitality work experience 3 - 5 years in a similar capacity

-          Hospitality training
