Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide safe transport and messenger services to immediate and extended family/business.

Job Description

Our client, a family residing in Thindigua, off Kiambu Road, seeks to fill the following position: Messenger/Driver.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick-up and drop-off duties as per daily schedule,
• Running errands when required,
• Perform daily mechanical safety and maintenance checks and maintain service records,
• Perform minor maintenance duties such as changing the oil,
• Clean car as scheduled,
• Ensure the car is safely and securely stored,
• Advise the vehicle owner of any requirements for maintenance or repairs,
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

The Person

• Must have a valid certified BCE grade driving license,
• Should have proven five (5) years of accident-free driving experience,
• Should demonstrate knowledge of the Kenyan Traffic Laws,
• A Certificate in any Business Course is an added advantage,
• Should have a current certificate of good conduct,
• Must have good time management skills
• Must be courteous and respectful,
• Must be flexible,
• Should be willing to work odd working hours,
• Must be honest and trustworthy,
• Should be calm and focused.
