OPERATIONS MANAGER – AVOCADO & MACADAMIA FARM

 Communicate and implement company policies across Farm operations.

 Oversee and monitor daily field activities to ensure operational efficiency.

 Manage certification while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

 Preparation and management of the divisional annual budgets (revenue and capital expenditure), including cost control and procurement.

 Supervise key agronomic practices such as pruning, pest and disease control, fertilizer application, and field nutrition assessment.

 Oversee the farm development projects, including capital works and infrastructure improvements.

 Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the Farm.

 Manage employee duties and deliverables.

 Manage Employee relations issues and welfare issues.

 Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and internal transfers.

 Coordinate the movement of processed products to our other facilities

 Maintain accurate inventory records across the farm.

 Manage financial reporting and monitor farm budgets.

 Host company visitors and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and local communities.

 Manage security operations within the Farm.

 Review end-of-month reports and analyze operational variances.

Key Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or a related field.

 A postgraduate qualification in similar field.

 At least 5 years of relevant experience in agricultural Farm management, with 3 years in a managerial role.

Skills & Competencies:

 Strong leadership and team management skills

 Solid understanding of agronomic practices and farm management principles.

 Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, expenditure control, and financial reporting.

 Good planning and organizational skills.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 High integrity and able to work with minimal supervision.
