Our client a Franchise superior restaurants seeks to urgently hire

Operarions Manager reporting Direct to Managing Director.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Delivery

·         Embed the company and brand vision across operational area.

·         Drive first class hospitality service standards across the area ensuring full delivery of area business plan supporting overall business strategy.

·         Undertake and report on area trends and ensure that all key event launch initiatives are fully embedded within area.

·         To monitor and manage performance objectives that both stretch and challenge direct reports, maximising commercial potential.


Commercial

·         Maximise the commercial potential of the area through the delivery of best practices.

·         Successfully manage area P&L and turnover ensuring full delivery of the bottom line.

·         Communicate to Store Management and Store Teams on business performance (KPI’s), new initiatives and commercial development opportunities.

 

·         Deliver consistent exceptional audit results building an “audit ready” culture.

Leadership

·         Provide inspirational leadership to all teams, drive recognition programs, celebrate success and personal development.

·         Develop and maintain effective working relationships across stakeholder group aligned to company’s values and principles.


   Communication Skills

·         Has a good business acumen with a pragmatic common sense approach.

·         Develops, maintains and strengthens collaborative relationships inside and outside the workplace.

·         Listens actively and expresses self clearly in conversations and interactions with others.

·         Expresses self clearly in business writing to effectively reach the audience.

 

Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills

·         Prioritises projects to meet deadlines. Carefully manages several projects at once, focusing on timelines and the end result.

·         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

·         Ensures that work is complete and carefully reviews the accuracy of information in their work.


People Management Skills

·         Provide inspirational leadership to all teams, drive recognition programs, celebrate success and personal development.

·         Develop and maintain effective working relationships across stakeholder group aligned to company’s values and principles.

·         Maximise internal and external relationships, influencing and gaining commitment to the company agenda.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

·         Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

·         Previous branded QSR or Casual Dining experience in Kenya is a must, minimum of 5 years.

·         Degree in Business Management or Hospitality Management would be an advantage.

·         A minimum of 15 years Hospitality experience, with 5 years Multi-site operational experience.

P&L management and accountability a must
