PROCUREMENT OFFICE/MANAGER

1. Procurement & Sourcing

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for MEP materials, tools, and equipment.

• Obtain quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and finalize procurement recommendations.

• Source specialized items related to HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing works.

• Ensure procurement is aligned with project BOQs, specifications, and budgets.

2. Vendor Management

• Maintain a strong supplier network including local and international vendors.

• Conduct supplier evaluations, monitor performance, and maintain updated vendor databases.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.

3. Purchase Orders & Documentation

• Prepare purchase orders (POs), LPOs, and ensure accurate terms and specifications.

• Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery to project sites.

• Maintain procurement records as per ISO/QA requirements.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Estimation team to understand material needs.

• Work with the Warehouse Team to ensure receipt, inspection, and proper storage of materials.

• Liaise with Finance for invoice approvals, budget checks, and payments.

5. Cost Control & Optimization

• Monitor material price trends and propose cost-saving initiatives.

• Ensure procurement activities help control project costs and avoid delays.

• Support in preparing budgets and forecasts for materials and equipment.

6. Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all materials meet project specifications, standards, and client requirements.

• Verify material certificates, test reports, and warranties where applicable.

• Follow procurement policies, ethical standards, and HSE guidelines.
