Roam vision is to make electric transport more accessible to a broader market by making the technology more cost efficient and simplifying deployment. The company focuses on all-electric conversion kits for fleet vehicles such as light trucks, public transport and buses, as well as electric motorcycles and energy systems. These focus areas have been chosen to maximize impact, as these vehicles are some of the highest CO2 emitting vehicles on the market and are largely an untapped opportunity. Therefore creating the standard for electric mobility in Africa.About the role: The process owner is solely responsible for owning the production and manufacturing process. They are accountable for designing an effective and efficient process, using the right people and financial and technical resources to run the process, and delivering quality outcomes as required within Roam Electric. Key Duties and responsibilities: Define the process objectives and mission.Optimize the process design.Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment with their requirements and expectationsSet and monitor performance targetsDefine and track KPIsCommunicate performance using tailored dashboardsPlan and manage process improvement opportunitiesManage and report on process activities from end to endDocument and maintain the process mapTrain and manage resources assigned to the processReview and resolve process issuesCommunicate process changesReview key performance indicators and identify improvement activities#Engage with stakeholders so services run smoothly Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical , Production or Industrial EngineeringWorks closely with production manager and other specialistExcellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to promote a culture of productivity in teams and work closely with other team members is a mustExperience in using process simulation software e.g ExtendSim, Arena or any other process simulation toolsKnowledge in using and commissioning ERP modules in Production, Planning and Supply chainOwnership of system configuration ensuring compliance with Business UnitAbility to develop, document and implement high quality processesExperience in leading continuous improvement , lean manufacturing is a plusAdaptability – Demonstrate flexibility in dealing with situations involving changing demands, uncertainty, and stress, changing production reporting requirements, shifting schedules e.tcPriority setting – able to prioritize tasks and deliver requirements as business needs ariseEstablish training process for new and existing hires
