About the Restaurant
Our client Restaurant is an upmarket hospitality venue offering quality dining, bar services, and event facilities, including meetings, conferences, and outside catering services. The restaurant is designed to deliver exceptional dining experiences and hospitality services for corporate functions, social gatherings, and everyday dining.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and mature Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the main branch. The successful candidate will ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for service, maintain high standards of food quality and customer service, supervise staff, and drive sales performance. The role also includes managing the bar, conferencing facilities, and outside catering operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service delivery.
● Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared and ready for service at all times.
● Supervise and manage service staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and performance.
● Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and food hygiene.
● Manage and coordinate bar operations, events, and conferencing facilities.
● Plan and oversee outside catering services and corporate functions.
● Drive monthly sales targets and support restaurant marketing initiatives.
● Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard restaurant operations and finances.
● Ensure effective customer service and guest satisfaction.
● Lead, motivate, and manage staff performance and development.
Requirements
● Education: Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management from a recognized institution.
● Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior management or supervisory roles in a busy classified upmarket hotel or restaurant.
● 40 yrs and above
● Strong understanding of restaurant operations and hospitality technical systems.
● Knowledge of internal controls, food hygiene, and compliance standards.
● Demonstrated experience in restaurant sales, marketing, and revenue targets.
● Proven ability to manage staff and lead teams effectively.
● Experience managing events, conferencing, and large hospitality functions.
