Job summary
Norine Forbes Safaris Limited is looking for a competent and customer-focused Ticketing Personnel to join our team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling domestic and international flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissues, refunds, cancellations, and itinerary changes.
Job descriptions & requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Travel & Tourism, IATA, or a related field.
Previous experience in airline reservations and ticketing.
Strong working knowledge of Galileo and/or Amadeus GDS.
Good understanding of fare rules, reissues, refunds, and cancellations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet ticketing deadlines.
Experience working in an IATA-accredited travel agency will be an added advantage.
Monitoring ticketing deadlines and booking queues.
Following up on airline schedule changes and communicating updates to clients.
Liaising with airlines and suppliers where necessary.
Preparing flight quotations and responding promptly to client inquiries.
Maintaining accurate reservation and ticketing records.
Providing professional and efficient customer service.
