Job Description/Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Operate different types of rollers (smooth drum, pneumatic, or vibratory) to achieve required compaction levels.
- Conduct daily inspections and ensure the roller is in good working condition.
- Identify and report equipment faults or breakdowns promptly.
- Work closely with engineers, site supervisors, and laboratory personnel to meet compaction targets.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and operational procedures on site.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid plant operator license/certification for roller operation.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in operating rollers on road construction projects.
- Familiarity with compaction requirements for road upgrades to bitumen standards.
- Ability to perform minor maintenance and check fluid levels.
