DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the construction and hardware sectors.
- Promote and sell the company’s products to hardware stores, construction sites, and contractors.
- Visit clients as per daily route plans and maintain detailed records of visits and follow- ups.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Identify new sales opportunities within assigned territories.
Marketing & Business Development
- Implement marketing strategies to improve brand visibility and generate leads.
- Conduct market research to understand competitor activities, customer preferences, and industry trends.
- Actively contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Account Management & Reporting
- Manage client accounts efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and prepare regular reports.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and ensure client retention.
Logistics & Territory Management
- Plan and execute daily/weekly routes for effective coverage of assigned territories.
- Ensure proper documentation of client visits, orders, and collections.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Business Management, Sales & Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in construction
- materials or hardware industry
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, techniques, and commercial trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in client relationship management and negotiation
- High level of self-motivation, organization, and time management
- Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
