Job Description (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); KMFRI was established to conduct research on aquatic systems covering both marine and freshwater. The Institute has grown from staff strength of two Research Scientists at inception to the current scientists. KMFRI’s approved staff establishment stands at 1, employees. KMFRI infrastructure capacity has also expanded from two research stations based in Mombasa and Kisumu with acquisition of seven additional stations. KMFRI is managed by a Board of Management appointed by the Cabinet Secretary, for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.KMFRI Grade 6Duties and responsibilities of the officer entail; In Liaison and approval of the relevant operational departments the functional consultant will perform the following responsibilities;Lead the process of requirements gathering by undertaking an in-depth business process analysis, definition and documentation of the business requirements for the operational departments.Carry out integration designs for non-standard customizations with core functionalities.In liaison with the vendors review the data migration templates and support the users in completing the required data.Carry out independent system quality tests.Overall project management such as development of the project deliverables, change management reports, meetings coordination, vendor invoicing, and project closure.Coordinate the resolution of pending issues with the external service provider and finalization of user manuals.Any other duty assigned by the supervisor. Person SpecificationsRequirements for Appointment A minimum of an undergraduate with a business-related degree or IT.Specialization in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central will be advantageous.A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an ERP Functional consultant for nonprofit organizations will be a plus.Extensive knowledge of business processes & ERP implementation process is key.Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.Experience in Microsoft Power BI and integration with core ERPSuperb problem-solving and analytical abilities.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Requiring a flexible individual who may be needed to work beyond the official working hours, including weekends.There may also be occasional travel to the field offices.
