Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve specified compaction levels in subgrade and sub-base layers as directed.
- Carry out routine maintenance and daily machine checks.
- Report any mechanical issues or defects to the site supervisor promptly.
- Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and fellow equipment operators.
- Adhere to safety procedures and project quality requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid plant operator license/certification for sheepfoot compactor.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience operating a sheepfoot compactor in road construction projects.
- Familiarity with road construction processes, especially compaction for bitumen upgrading.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
