The Core Banking Product Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting core banking product modules. The role involves delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions aligned with business requirements while meeting defined SLAs, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Timeliness
- Deliver assigned development tasks within agreed timelines.
- Achieve at least 85% on-time task delivery.
- Provide regular updates on task progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Escalate blockers proactively.
2. Development & Quality of Work
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code for core banking modules.
- Ensure code adheres to established architecture and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Maintain
high-quality standards with:
- ≤ 4 defects per release
- Zero repeated defects after code review feedback
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing activities.
- Support release deployments as required.
3. Production Support & Incident Management
- Provide L2/L3 support for core banking applications.
- Resolve low to medium severity incidents under supervision.
- Ensure:
- ≥ 85% SLA compliance
- ≥ 80% first-time fix rate
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Document known issues and resolutions.
4. Technical Ownership & Problem Solving
- Understand business and functional requirements thoroughly.
- Implement solutions with guidance from senior developers/architects.
- Ensure ≥ 70% of assigned tasks are completed with minimal rework.
- Identify performance optimization and improvement opportunities.
- Support enhancements and change requests in existing core banking modules.
5. Collaboration & Professional Development
- Communicate progress clearly with team members and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with QA, Product, Implementation, and Support teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Complete 1–2 technical skill development trainings annually.
- Continuously improve knowledge of core banking domain and technology stack.
