IT Assistant (Techno-Functional ERP Profile)
Position Title:IT Assistant – ERP Techno-Functional Support
Reporting To:Head of Digital
Location:Nairobi
Nationality:Kenyan Citizens only
Salary Range: Competitive (Compensation may be flexible for the right candidate)
Age: 30 and above
Role Summary The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ERP implementation, system support, user coordination, and process improvement.
This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and functional business understanding to assist in ERP implementation, troubleshooting, user support, and optimization of business processes.
Key
Responsibilities
- Support
the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of ERP systems.
- Work
closely
with
users
and
departments
to
understand
business
requirements
and translate them into system solutions.
- Provide
first-level technical and functional support for ERP-related issues.
- Coordinate with vendors, developers, and internal stakeholders during ERP implementation and support phases.
- Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and documentation.
- Monitor
system
performance
and
identify
opportunities
for
process
automation
and improvement..
- Generate
reports and support data accuracy within ERP systems.
- Ensure
timely resolution of system issues and user queries.
- Support ongoing digital transformation initiatives within the business.
Education
qualification / Skills / Experience / Technical and functional skills
- Bachelor’s
Degree
or
Diploma
in
Information
Technology,
Computer
Science,
Business Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 3
to 5 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Must
have
participated
in
at
least
oneortwocompleteERPimplementationcycles involving a Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP solution.
- Strong
understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
- Experience
in ERP implementation, configuration, support, or administration
- Ability
to bridge technical and business requirements effectively.
- Good
troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong
communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of databases, reporting tools, and system integrations will be an added advantage
Preferred ERP Exposure
- Experience with any recognized Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP platforms such as:
- SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Odoo, Infor, ERP Next or similar ERP solutions
