STORE KEEPER POSITION ( HOTEL INDUSTRY)
Job summary
We’re looking for an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the hotel’s inventory of food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment. You’ll ensure stock is accurately received, stored, issued, and recorded to prevent shortages, waste, and losses while supporting smooth daily operations across departments.
Job descriptions & requirements
1. Inventory Management
- Receive goods against LPOs, delivery notes, and invoices. Check quantity, quality, and expiry dates.
- Store items in the correct locations with proper labeling, rotation, and temperature control for perishables.
- Issue stock to departments using approved requisition forms and maintain accurate issue records.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and monthly physical inventory checks. Investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and alert Purchasing/Finance when items reach reorder point to avoid stockouts.
