Job Title: Strategy Lead
Reports to: C.E.O

PROFILE INTRODUCTION:

With a strategic focus on market expansion, operational excellence, and environmental sustainability, the company seeks a dynamic Strategy Lead to spearhead strategic initiatives and translate vision into measurable business impact.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Planning & Initiative Management
•Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives, establishing clear objectives, realistic timelines, and quantifiable success metrics
•Oversee the end-to-end implementation of corporate strategy, ensuring alignment across all business units and functional departments
•Cascade strategic priorities throughout the organization, translating high-level objectives into actionable team-level goals
•Monitor and evaluate initiative progress through structured reporting mechanisms, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
2. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
•Conduct comprehensive analysis of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the energy sector
•Track competitor activities, market dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making
•Identify growth opportunities and potential threats through systematic market research and scenario planning
•Provide forward-looking insights on sustainability trends, renewable energy transitions, and evolving customer preferences
3. Financial Planning & Business Case Development
•Lead financial modeling and feasibility assessments for new strategic initiatives, pilot programs, and regional expansion projects
•Develop robust business cases that evaluate investment opportunities against strategic priorities and financial parameters
•Advise executive leadership on resource allocation, capital deployment, and portfolio optimization
•Prepare comprehensive financial and non-financial reports for C-suite executives, Board members, and key stakeholders
4. Data Analytics & Performance Management
•Align analytics initiatives with strategic business objectives, ensuring data capabilities support decision-making needs
•Design and implement performance dashboards and visualization tools that transform complex data into actionable strategic insights
•Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms to measure strategic initiative performance and business impact
•Ensure data integrity, quality assurance, security protocols, and compliance with regulatory standards across all analytics functions
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
•Drive cross-functional project teams to deliver strategic initiatives on time and within budget
•Champion agile and iterative execution models that enable rapid testing, learning, and scaling of strategic programs
•Facilitate strategic alignment across departments including Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain
•Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain transparent communication channels throughout project lifecycles
6. Strategic Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
•Develop compelling strategic narratives, executive briefs, and Board-level presentations that articulate vision, progress, and recommendations
•Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing thought partnership on critical business decisions
•Prepare strategic reports, business reviews, and market updates for internal and external stakeholders
•Lead strategic planning sessions, workshops, and offsites that foster alignment and drive organizational commitment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategy or related field; MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred
•Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategy, management consulting, or business development, with at least 3 years in the energy sector
•Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives from conception through implementation
•Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools, financial modelling software, and business intelligence platforms (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
•Demonstrated experience working with C-suite executives and Board-level stakeholders
•Strong project management capabilities with experience in agile methodologies
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences
