Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinary doctors and managing customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets as they arrive at the clinic.
- Manage the front desk by answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries.
- Handle the check-in and check-out process for clients and their pets.
- Update and manage client and patient records in our veterinary software system.
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and providing receipts.
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
- Update our social media pages regularly
- Provide information to clients about our services, policies, and procedures.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
Requirements
- Must have previous experience working in a veterinary clinic.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using computers and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Experience with veterinary management software.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
