DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation
  • Assist in preparing journals, ledgers, and basic financial reports
  • Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents

Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Follow up on customer payments and maintain updated debtor records
  • Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly

Stock & Inventory Reconciliation
  • Assist in reconciling stock records with physical inventory counts
  • Investigate and report discrepancies in stock movements
  • Support inventory control processes within the FMCG/manufacturing environment

Financial Support & Reporting
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries and reports
  • Support senior accountants in budgeting and cost tracking
  • Provide accurate data for financial decision-making

Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
  • Maintain proper records for audits and financial reviews
  • Support adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA Part II (Intermediate Level) is required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of stock reconciliation, payables, and receivables
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
