Job descriptions & requirements
- Safe Transport: Operate company vehicles (e.g., box trucks, semi-trucks, or delivery vans) safely and efficiently along designated routes.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure all cargo is picked up and delivered to clients or warehouses on schedule.
- Load Management: Assist with or oversee the loading, securing, and unloading of freight to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports using electronic logging devices (ELD) or mobile apps.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Customer Service: Act as a courteous and professional representative of the company when interacting with clients and warehouse staff.
