Job summary
You will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transport for staff, management, and official visitors, as well as the movement of goods and documents, while ensuring proper care, maintenance, and compliance of assigned vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
Drive staff, management, and official visitors safely and punctually to designated destinations; transport goods, documents, and equipment as required; plan routes to ensure timely and efficient travel.
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, tires, brakes, lights); keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
Schedule and follow up on routine servicing and repairs; promptly report mechanical faults or accidents.
Ensure that the vehicle's insurance, inspection, and licensing documents are valid and up to date.
Maintain accurate trip records, mileage logs, and fuel consumption records; adhere strictly to traffic laws and the organization's transport policy.
Assist with the collection and delivery of correspondence, parcels, and procurement items.
Support logistics for meetings, trainings, and events, including airport/venue pick-ups and drop-offs; assist with loading and offloading of goods where required.
Ensure the safety and security of passengers and cargo at all times, observing safe driving practices, especially during adverse weather or road
conditions.
Secure the vehicle and its contents when not in use.
Run official errands as assigned by the supervisor and support general office logistics during peak periods.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or management from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent.
Valid driving license (Class B, C, or E as required) with a clean driving record.
3+ years of experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or office environment.
Certificate in Defensive Driving is an added advantage.
Key Competencies
Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Punctuality, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
