Equipment Operator(s) (Agriculture) Sudan

Our client, an organization that operates in the COMESA region providing world class agricultural and industrial services, directly employing thousands of employees on its payroll, is looking for Agricultural Machine Operators. The successful candidate’s main responsibility will be to drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities on the farm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil; planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.

• Perform tasks such as crop baling or hay bucking.

• Operate agricultural equipment to perform pre and post-harvest tasks.

• Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.

• Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.

• Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.

• Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships - Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.

• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.

Qualifications:

• Must have a certificate, diploma or higher

• Must have at least five (2) years of experience operating heavy farm equipment.

• Must have a valid drivers license.

• Should have know how to drive one or more of Baler, Cutter, Packing Tractor, Raker, Sprayer, Windrower.

• Should have a good control precision and basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance skills

• Should be aware good safety and security procedures.

• Should me a good English communicator and an active listener

Monthly Net salary: USD 650/= (Approx. KES 84,500)
