The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the company’s fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with all regulations, cost optimization, and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily vehicle dispatch, route optimization, and tracking of fleet movement using telematics/GPS systems.
- Maintenance Strategy: Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules to maintain the "as-new" condition of vehicles.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with ALL regulations, insurance renewals, and licensing.
- Cost Control: Supervise fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and manage vendor relationships to reduce total cost of ownership.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of drivers on professional conduct and safety standards.
- Reporting: Generate daily/monthly KPIs on fuel mileage, vehicle utilization, and reports.
